The traditional portrait lens is one around 100mm (35mm equivalent). With its 90mm equivalent focal length, close-focusing capabilities, and a wide aperture, I find Nikon's
60mm f/2.8D AF Micro-Nikkor to be an excelent portrait lens. This is the lens I used for "Portrait 1" and "Portrait 2". For the next four photos, I used a 12-24mm wide-angle zoom.
